Hello! Life has taken me in some unexpected directions this summer. After a position teaching English in Seoul ended a bit earlier than expected, I took the opportunity to experience life on two wheels: in this case, across six new countries with a Giant touring bike as my main companion.

My number one travel buddy and I tackling the hills of Ireland.

I met all kinds of wonderful people, saw landscapes that took my breath away, and learned yet again that we humans are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. With this three-and-a-half month journey now complete, I’m back home in Canada and plan on sticking around for a while.

Does this mean the adventures are over? Far from it! Stay tuned as I share past adventures with my readers and continue to seek out new ones here in Manitoba. 🙂

The world is a wonderful place!

You can check out Taste of Korea Tuesdays to see what was on my plate in my kitchen, in restaurants and on the streets of Seoul (and beyond!). Travel Rewinds explore previous trips- in Australia, Cambodia, CanadaChina, Laos, South Korea and Vietnam.

I’d be psyched if you stayed up-to-date by following my Instagram or liking my Facebook page. If you have any questions about my travels past or future or want to say hi, you can get in touch at adventureswithholly@gmail.com. In coming weeks and months, I’ll be delving into this summer’s travels. Enjoy!

  1. Wow, what an amazing experience to be living in Korea. Look forward to reading about your adventures there. Your photos are wonderful. I have a penchant for chocolate and fried foods, too. They’re just so darn good!

    • Haha yes, I agree! A life without chocolate and coffee (and, now I can add, Korean fried chicken!) simply would not be as wonderful. Thanks for your kind words! I’m glad you stopped by 🙂
