Wild Saint Boniface on a frosty morning: discovering Winnipeg’s natural beauty

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in a photography workshop run by Joey Visser of From Here and Away, a site showcasing gorgeous photos within Manitoba and beyond and encouraging creative discovery. I loved being surrounded by so many talented local photographers, and left the workshop feeling energized and inspired. IMG_0864 IMG_0876 IMG_0893

The best part was seeing participants upload their photos to share in subsequent days. How fascinating that we could all take in the same surroundings yet capture such different images! IMG_0907 IMG_0909 IMG_0922 IMG_0930

I had a wonderful morning, and look forward to capturing more of Winnipeg’s natural areas- spring, summer, fall and winter. IMG_0936 IMG_0938 IMG_0940 IMG_0941 IMG_0946 IMG_0811 IMG_0828 IMG_0829 IMG_0836 IMG_0845
